SIR 41st Annual Scientific Meeting 2016 will be held in Vancouver, Canada on April 2-7, 2016.
SIR (Society of Interventional Radiology) Annual Scientific Meeting is dedicated to new techniques and advances in the field of Interventional Radiology such as:
- Embolization therapy to stop hemorrhaging or to block the blood supply to a tumor
- Nonsurgical ablation of tumors- kill cancer without harming the surrounding tissue
- Carotid artery angioplasty and stenting to prevent stroke
- Catheter-directed thrombolysis to clear blood clots, preventing disability from deep vein thrombosis and stroke
